Baseball in April by Gary Soto
5 out of 5 stars! The book was very good. I would recommend this to other people because there is a variety of stories. I enjoyed the main title story the most "Baseball in April" it's about someone who isn't good enough to make the town baseball league, but finds another place where he can play and be part of a team no matter how good or bad he plays. - Katie, Gr.8

Under A War Torn Sky by L.M. Elliot
4 out of 5 stars. Liked the book, didn't know that France was in World War II. Main character flies war planes for the US in World War II, he gets shot down and help by members of the "Resistance" in France. They are Frenchmen and women who aid the Allies in the War by hiding them. Luckily, the main character took French in school so he could communicate with the people in the resistance. - Kyle, Gr. 7
Artemis Fowl the Graphic Novel
4 out 5 stars. Gives a whole new perspective to the story. The graphics are great, and seeing the characters made it easier to understand what was going on. I especially loved the way the fairies were drawn. - Austin Gr.7
